Noah 2.5 year update

Noah is at the most fun stage right now and i'm convinced that this stage will be the best of his life. Ha! I just love his zest for life right now and his continual eagerness to learn. I haven't updated my blog in a while when it comes to this little cutie, so I hope I can cover it all on what i've missed since the last. Noah is in an academy during the day while Travis and I work. I was so hesitant to have him in and felt a ton of mom guilt for the first month and even considered taking him out, but i'm so glad I kept him in. The school is amazing with him and he has progressed leaps and bounds since starting in July. Noah is talking up a storm and loves to have conversations with everyone around him. He is happy-go-lucky and loves to go with the flow. He has a bunch of friends from school and loves to talk about them. He has been also struggling with some ear infections and has had 3 since September. Unfortunately, that's kept Noah from being his normal happy self for quite some time and wakes quite often during the night and it has slowly killed us. Right when we got our newborn sleeping, we have a two year old that refuses to sleep and it has been pretty rough. We are hoping we are on the mend and he will be back to sleeping as normal. CROSS YOUR FINGERS.

fun things about Noah at this age:

-very independent
-will go off on his own when he needs to poop. We always know when there will be a dirty diaper when it's quite and Noah is hiding somewhere in a corner or underneath something to get some private time
-he will repeat things over and over until acknowledged
-he knows dinosaur names and will tell you them by looking at a picture of them
-he knows almost all of his shapes. He will often point at something as say "hexagon!" "triangle!" "rectangle!" it's so cute
-he knows all of his colors
-he loves snacks and particularly "crapcorn" aka popcorn, at night before bed
-he loves ice in his water
-he always asks for juice. We sometimes tell him it is white juice aka water, and he loves it just as much. haha
-he loves loves loves applesauce with all of his heart and soul
-he loves Mr. Potato head and assembling all of the many pieces. This is most definitely his most used toy at this point. He also loves his dinosaurs and plays with those often
-he loves playing aunt Abbie's and asks to go over to her house (next door) every single day
-loves to run around with his eyes closed and guess where he is walking. He runs into things often, but somehow it brings him so much joy
-he does a great job and brushing his teeth
-he loves bath time
-he loves to shower and draw shapes and objects on the steamy shower glass
-he always takes his shoes and socks off when entering the house and places them in his shoe basket. The cutest
-if he wants to find mom or dad in the house, he yell "mom! dad! where are you!?" it is so funny
-he loves singing and is obsessed with learning songs/nursery rhymes. His current obsession is "baby shark"
-he loves his blue blanket and uses it a lot out of comfort
-loves to be tucked in at night

We love our sweet Noah boy. Every day with him has been a complete blessing. I love being his mom.
