In January we went to Kauai as a family and had an absolute blast. Noah definitely has gotten quite the travel experiences since being born, but i'm grateful that having kids haven't stopped us from what I love to do (Travis isn't much of a traveler - he prefers home and routine), so I often beg Travis to travel because I love to see the world. I'm grateful that Travis' parents have been a huge contributor to our ability to travel due to their time shares we've utilized. I was 20 weeks pregnant during this trip and was able to get up and run most mornings. I was such a beautiful experience to run in solitude along the beach and the incredible coast lines. Man, I could live in that place!
We visited a lot of fun places, but my favorite was Queen's Bath, eating way too much of Joe's shaved ice, and kayaking up the Wimea River and hiking to the waterfall -- all with a toddler in tow who slept most of the time. The day we left home Kauai had a false missle alarm which made national news - so greatful we were out of there when it happened!
I had such a great time in Kauai and am so excited to go back someday.
